The Sterling Group, a Houston-based middle-market private equity firm has added Meghan Leggett and Jared North as directors.

Leggett joins the firm following her time as a managing director with White Deer Energy. While serving with White Deer, Leggett concentrated on investing in energy, industrials, and infrastructure verticals. Prior to joining Sterling, North served with Stifel and RBC Capital Markets where he advised clients on acquisitions, divestitures, and financing within diversified industrials.

Additionally, the firm has made six internal promotions including John Griffin and Steven Hirsch to directors, Nate Reeve to a principal, Annika Ward to vice president of management company accounting, Jared Bell to vice president, and Christine Shtepani to vice president of sourcing.
