Arcline Investment Management has agreed to acquire the holding company of Continental Aerospace Technologies for total consideration of approximately $535 million.
The acquisition aligns with Arcline’s aerospace and defense systems strategy, adding a long-established manufacturer of mission-critical aircraft propulsion products. Founded in 1905 and headquartered in Mobile, Ala., Continental Aerospace Technologies designs and manufactures piston aircraft engines and provides related aftermarket products and services for the general aviation market. The company’s portfolio includes both AvGas and Jet-A engines, supported by a large installed base of aircraft globally. Its products serve aircraft owners, operators and OEM customers, with a reputation built on engineering expertise, product reliability, and long-term customer support.
JPMorgan Securities is serving as financial advisor to Arcline, while Freshfields is acting as legal advisor on the transaction.
