Carr’s Hill Partners has acquired OMNI, a Louisiana-based manufacturer of conduit solutions serving underground communications, transportation, utility and other infrastructure applications.

The transaction represents the third investment from CHP’s Fund I and advances the firm’s strategy of investing in family- and founder-owned businesses operating in growing industrial and infrastructure markets. Concurrent with the acquisition, Cameron Currie joined the company as chief executive officer.

Founded in 1985, OMNI is a provider of conduit systems used in communications, transportation, utility and industrial infrastructure projects throughout the southeastern U.S. The company operates administrative offices in Elmwood, La., and a manufacturing facility in Slidell, La. The company’s multi-duct systems are designed to reduce installation costs, shorten deployment times, and minimize required access points compared with traditional single-duct alternatives.
