Blue Tide, a developer and operator of used motor oil re-refining infrastructure and a portfolio company of Tailwater Capital, has appointed Jason Starnes as CFO and Sinan Kucuk as CCO.
Starnes will oversee finance, accounting, strategic planning, and corporate development, while Kucuk will lead feedstock supply, product sales and marketing, supply chain, and customer operations.
Starnes previously served as CFO of Harbor Logistics and held finance and investment banking roles at Associated Asphalt Partners, Wells Fargo Securities, JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) and Amegy Bank. Kucuk joins from Shell (NYSE: SHEL), where he held senior leadership positions overseeing global base oil supply and commercial operations, following earlier experience with Toyota Automotive Manufacturing.
