GALT Aerospace, a defense technology company focused on warfighter-centric C3 services for airborne systems and a portfolio company of Godspeed Capital, has acquired North Star Scientific Corp., a designer and manufacturer of high-reliability defense electronics products.

The addition of NSS expands GALT’s portfolio in advanced communications, radar and radio frequency (RF) technologies, strengthening its position across command and control, electronic sensing, airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) and broader C3ISR missions.

Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Kapolei, Hawaii, NSS develops communications, radar and RF systems supporting defense applications. Its intellectual property portfolio includes high-power RF amplifiers, transmitters, next-generation antennas and electronically scanned arrays used in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The company serves customers including the U.S. Air Force, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Office of Naval Research (ONR), supporting programs such as the E-2D Hawkeye, E-3 Sentry, E/A-18 Growler and MIDS JTRS.
