Clearlake Capital Group has closed Clearlake Capital Partners VIII, raising $14.8 billion across the flagship fund, co-investment vehicles and separately managed accounts.
The fundraising was completed in a challenging private markets environment and attracted nearly 300 existing and new investors from 35 countries across six continents. Fund VIII has already begun deploying capital into companies aligned with Clearlake’s sector-focused strategy and AI-driven investment thesis. Recent investments include Dun & Bradstreet, Qualus and ModMed.
Evercore Private Funds Group served as fundraising advisor and global placement agent for Fund VIII, while Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as legal counsel.
