Leonard Green & Partners has completed the acquisition of Cumming Group from New Mountain Capital.
The transaction transfers ownership of one of the largest independent providers of project management and cost management advisory services focused on the built environment. Cumming Group provides project management and cost management services to clients across North America and Western Europe. The company serves more than 4,000 clients, including 41 Fortune 100 companies, and employs approximately 2,900 professionals across more than 60 offices globally. The firm advises organizations throughout the lifecycle of construction and infrastructure projects, positioning it as a leading independent advisory platform serving the built environment sector.
Jefferies served as financial advisor to Cumming, with Evercore acting as co-financial advisor and Ropes & Gray providing legal counsel. Morgan Stanley advised LGP financially, while Latham & Watkins served as legal counsel.
