KKR, a global investment firm, has appointed Pamela Alexander as a managing director and head of corporate citizenship.

Going forward, Alexander will operate the development and execution of the firm’s corporate citizenship and strategic philanthropy programs while acting as a resource on citizenship for the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm, Alexander most recently serves as director of community development for the Ford Motor Co., an organization she had spent over two decades with. In her time with community development, she directed and led community engagement as part of Ford’s philanthropic business segment.

“I am honored to be joining a company that shares my passion for community engagement and belief in the power that corporate citizenship can have in driving positive impact and empowering people and communities to reach their full potential,” said Alexander. “I look forward to building and expanding upon this important work through my new role at KKR and am excited for what’s ahead.”
