Medical Manufacturing Technologies, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Innova Design, a laser bonding technology company known for developing the first commercial catheter laser bonder.
Innova’s sixth-generation American-made laser bonders have been critical in producing millions of balloon catheters used globally in interventional medical procedures. The acquisition enhances MMT’s suite of bonding technologies, complementing existing hot box and split die bonding services. Innova’s advanced laser bonders feature innovative safety and ergonomic enhancements, including a motorized revolving safety door and integrated diode pointer.
