Goldman Sachs’ merchant banking division, in partnership with ClearSky Security and NightDragon, has acquired White Ops from Paladin Capital Group, Grotech Ventures and other shareholders.

Cybersecurity company White Ops provides protection from bot attacks for clients. “White Ops’ highly differentiated technology platform and scaled signal collection footprint helps its clients protect against a wide range of sophisticated fraud types,” says Goldman Sachs managing director Matthew Popper. “We look forward to working with management and our partners at ClearSky and NightDragon to accelerate the company’s expansion into new markets.”

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is acting as financial advisor to White Ops and Cooley LLP is providing legal counsel. Goldman and partners are being advised by Momentum Cyber. Legal counsel is being provided by Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
