Forged Solutions Group, a provider of high-specification forgings for the aerospace, defense and space markets and a portfolio company of an affiliate of J.F. Lehman & Co., has acquired Custom Alloy Corp.
The transaction expands FSG’s capabilities in defense-focused forgings and adds exposure to the U.S. Navy’s nuclear shipbuilding programs, supporting broader fleet modernization and supply-chain investment initiatives.
Headquartered in High Bridge, N.J., Custom Alloy Corp. is a manufacturer of specialized forgings, fittings and pipe serving defense and industrial customers. The company manufactures products in more than 170 alloys and combines open- and closed-die forging expertise with in-house conversion, machining, heat treatment and testing capabilities.
