Brewer Science has agreed to acquire the semiconductor chemicals business of Heraeus Epurio, expanding its portfolio of advanced materials used in semiconductor manufacturing.
The transaction includes the Heraeus Epurio semiconductor chemicals production site in Dayton, Ohio, as well as associated sales and support teams in Asia. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Brewer Science’s ability to provide ultrapure chemical solutions used in advanced lithography and microdevice fabrication.
Heraeus Epurio develops and manufactures ultrapure specialty chemicals for semiconductor and electronics applications. Based in Dayton, Ohio, the business is known for products including photoacid generators, photo-initiators, monomers, crosslinkers and related materials used in semiconductor production.
