Carlyle (Nasdaq: CG) has closed its 10th U.S. opportunistic real estate fund, Carlyle Realty Partners X, with $9 billion in total commitments, surpassing its $8 billion predecessor raised in 2021.
Despite a challenging fundraising climate, the strong showing reflects continued investor confidence in Carlyle’s U.S. Real Estate team and strategy. CRP X will target sectors such as residential, self-storage and industrial, while intentionally avoiding office, hotel and retail. Led by Rob Stuckey, Carlyle’s 140-person U.S. real estate team is positioned to deploy capital into sectors backed by long-term demographic and technological trends.
