North American Specialty Laminations, a company of the investment firm Building Industry Partners and a lamination and specialty fabrication services provider, has acquired Midwest Prefinishing and Premium Prefinished Products.

Midwest Prefinishing and Premium Prefinished Products, both based in Middleton, Wis., offer prefinishing services for interior doors, molding and stair parts markets. The acquisition looks to strengthen NASL’s prefinishing experience for customers that demand color in building products. The combined company aims to expand its footprint nationally to help its customers respond to market pressures around capital investment, labor constraints and rising transport costs.

“NASL is committed to meeting its customers where they are physically located, with the capabilities that they need to meet the growing demand for color,” says Pat Mascia, partner at BIP and NASL board chair. “Prefinishing is one capability that customers require, and we are excited to combine MWP’S and PPP’s tremendously skilled prefinishing team with our team.”

Siguler Guff, Dewitt Law LLP, Gerald Kerl CPA and Water Tower Capital LLC advised the sellers in this transaction.
