Core & Main, Inc. (NYSE: CNM) will acquire the assets of Canada Waterworks and Canada Waterworks Ottawa, a distributor of water, wastewater, and storm drainage products in Ontario.
Canada Waterworks is an established distributor serving the Ontario region with three operational locations: Toronto, Ottawa, and Hamilton. The company specializes in providing water, wastewater, and storm drainage infrastructure products to municipalities and contractors across its service area.
Core & Main, headquartered in St. Louis, is a U.S.–based distributor of water, sewer, and fire protection products. As part of its strategic expansion into Canada, this acquisition follows its entry into the Canadian market through the asset purchase of HM Pipe Products, a distributor based in London and Kitchener, Ontario, announced in July last year.
