Partners Group, a global private markets investment firm with over $185 billion in assets under management, has launched a dedicated special opportunities strategy, formalizing a program it previously pursued on an ad hoc basis.
The new strategy aims to capitalize on emerging investment opportunities driven by long-term economic transformation and macro uncertainty. It will target flexible capital solutions across three transaction types—structured liquidity for founder-led or growth businesses, investments in assets with constrained balance sheets, and bespoke liquidity solutions where traditional financing is scarce.
The new program will invest globally across corporate solutions, real assets, and liquidity-driven opportunities. To lead the initiative, Partners Group has hired Joshua Hartz as partner and global head of special opportunities.
