Badger Meter has agreed to acquire UDlive Limited, a provider of hardware-enabled software services for sewer line monitoring, with the transaction expected to close by the end of April 2026.
Funded with cash on hand, the acquisition is aimed at strengthening Badger Meter’s BlueEdge suite and expanding its position in the sewer monitoring market alongside its SmartCover platform. The deal underscores the company’s strategy to scale its wastewater monitoring capabilities globally, leveraging complementary geographic strengths in the U.S. and U.K.
Founded in 2017, UDlive Limited is headquartered in the United Kingdom and specializes in low-power, easy-to-install water level sensors deployed at manholes, paired with proprietary analytics software that provides real-time insights into sewer network conditions.
