Bain Capital has added Angelo Rufino as a partner and head of special situations in North America and head of corporate special situations in Europe.
Rufino joins Bain Capital from Brookfield Asset Management, where he served as global head and chief investment officer of the firm’s special situations business. Angelo will be based in New York and will be responsible for leading the special situations team in North America. He will partner closely with Ali Haroon, head of special situations and real estate in Europe, and the firm’s Europe special situations team.
