CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP), a U.S. accounting firm, has acquired Engine B, an AI-driven U.K.-based technology company that focuses on delivering generative AI services for the professional services industry.
Engine B was founded in 2019 by Shamus Rae and Donne Burrows. Engine B brings products and services to CLA that will aim to help the firm harness data and drive value to its clients. The move, CLA’s first global acquisition, looks to underscore the firm’s commitment to harnessing technology to improve client service and enable CLA professionals to focus more on client engagement, pursuing new business opportunities and delivering services.
