D.A. Davidson, a financial services firm, has hired Gary Morabito as a managing director in the equity capital markets group.
In this new role, Morabito will work across capital markets, investment banking, institutional research, sales and trading, Davidson Engage (DEN), and sponsor coverage to bring the firm’s platform to its technology clients. Morabito joins after 17 years at William Blair. Most recently, he built out the firm’s ECM platform and has advised both private and public companies on over 350 transactions including IPOs, follow-on offerings, convertible debt offerings, private placements, at-the-market offerings and registered directs.
