Golden Matrix Group Inc., a developer, licensor and global operator of online gaming and e-commerce platforms, systems and gaming content, has acquired MeridianBet Group, a business-to-consumer (B2C) sports betting and gaming group in southeast Europe.
GMGI has purchased MeridianBet Group and its related companies in a cash and stock transaction valued at approximately $300 million. The deal aims to provide GMGI with access to. regulated B2C markets that have experienced double digit compound annual growth rates since 2020, with over 1,100 MeridianBet professionals.
