Zapata Corp. will likely soon give the boot to its 61% stake in Omega Protein Corp. Houston-based Omega markets fish oils and fish feed derived from menhaden, an inedible fish caught in the Chesapeake Bay and off the Mid Atlantic coast. Its products are used in margarine, as well as to feed baby pigs and turkey poults.
