One active investor in billionaire John Kluge’s Metromedia International Group Inc. has had it up to his ears with the company’s evasive management and lagging stock price. Alan Snyder, president of San Francisco-based Snyder Capital Management, cited the “abysmal performance of [Metromedia’s] management and board” and its lack of communication with shareholders and the Street as reasons for filing a 13D on May 31.
