Vista Equity Partners has agreed to acquire sales data software company Xactly Corp. (NYSE: XTLY) for about $564 million. Vista is making the acquisition nearly two years after the target went public.

Xactly, headquartered in San Jose, California, designs sales management software that uses data to monitor employee performance and helps management determine incentive-based compensation. The target has previously worked with Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE: HON), LinkedIn and Salesforce.com Inc. (NYSE: CRM).

In 2016, Vista bought Regulatory DataCorp Inc., a provider of governance, risk and compliance software and services, from a group of owners headed by Bain Capital Ventures. In that same year, the San Francisco PE firm purchased cybersecuirty services provider InfoBlox.

Deals for data and analytics providers has been robust. Bain Capital-backed Vertafore acquired RiskMatch; FactSet Research Systems Inc. (NYSE: FDS) purchased Bisam Technologies S.A; and Harland Clarke bought RetailMeNot.
