Vance Street Capital LLC has acquired aircraft refurbishing service Eirtech Aviation for an undisclosed amount.

Eirtech, headquartered in Shannon, Ireland, is an aviation coatings company that specializes in aerospace painting and design.

Los Angeles private equity firm Vance Street will combine Eirtech with companies it already owns – Leading Edge Aviation Services Inc. and Associated Painters Inc. – to form International Aerospace Coatings Holdings LP. The combined company will provide exterior and interior aircraft painting, refurbishment and aircraft graphics. Each of the companies will continue to operate under their respective brand names.

Vance Street bought Leading Edge in April 2012. In March 2013, the company acquired Associated Painters in a move to expand Leading Edge's geographic reach in the U.S. and customer base. Separate from the aerospace businesses, Vance Street picked up Lark Engineering, a manufacturer of radio frequency filters, in September.

In another recent aviation deal, Carlyle Group (Nasdaq: CG)-backed Landmark Aviation picked up Ross Aviation from Centre Partners earlier in August. Before that, in July, H-D Advanced Manufacturing Co. bought Sungear Inc., which makes precision components for aerospace suppliers.
