Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc., looking to brace itself, has retained McDonald Investments to assist the $45 million microcap with exploring options, including a sale. The Street, however, was not im-pressed by the Aug. 24 announcement, as Universal’s stock fell by 12 cents to close at $7, which was where the shares traded at press time.
