Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW) has purchased Coeur Holding Co. from private equity firm, the Riverside Co., for an undisclosed amount.
Coeur designs and manufactures disposable products for medical procedures, including diagnostic-imaging products.
Riverside acquired Lebanon, Tenn.-based Coeur in 2008. The firm focuses on businesses valued up to $200 million and has invested in more than 295 deals. It recently acquired Future Medical, and CompuTaught. Riverside sold Healthcarefirst in September.
Illinois Tool Works sold off its decorative services business for $395 million to private equity firm Clayton Cubilier & Rice in August.
