Freelancer.com, a job outsourcing service for information technology (IT) specialists, agreed to purchase vWorker.

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The Tampa, Fla.-based target, which previously did business as RentACoder, is considered the fourth-biggest IT recruitment site for freelance coders and other technology professionals. The transaction of vWorker follows Freelancer.com’s acquiring of Scriptlance in July.

Freelancer, headquartered in New South Wales, Austraila, expects the deal to expand its services with the U.S. Founded in 2001, vWorker—which stands for “virtual worker”—incorporates various aspects of technology, including graphic design.
