Private equity owned cookie maker Nonni’s has purchased La Dolce Vita.

La Dolce manufactures Italian biscotti and specialty cookies. The deal is Nonni’s second acquisition. It bought Thinaddictves, a maker of thin biscotti cookies, in January 2012.

Tulsa, Okla.-based Nonni’s will expand production of La Dolce’s cookies. The buyer makes, markets and distributes branded biscotti in the U.S. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

PE firm Wind Point Partners bought Nonni’s in February 2011. The Chicago-based investment firm manages about $2.5 billion in equity commitments. Its portfolio companies include Hearthside Food Solutions, Interface Solutions and Rupari Foods.
