Private equity firm Thoma Bravo LLC has closed a $395 million deal for Keynote Systems Inc.

Keynote, headquartered in San Mateo, Calif., provides cloud-based tools for testing mobile applications and websites. The company was publicly traded on the Nasdaq exchange before the deal closed.

The deal was announced in June.

Chicago-based Thoma Bravo also recently purchased Intuit Inc.’s (Nasdaq: INTU) financial services division for about $1.03 billion. In November, the firm picked up Crossbeam Systems Inc., a security provider.
