Private equity firm Swander Pace Capital has made an investment in Aden + Anais.

Aden + Anais, headquartered in Brooklyn, was founded in 2006 and makes products for babies, including baby blankets, bath products, crib sheets and bibs. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The company expects Swander’s investment to allow it to expand its product group.

San Francisco-based Swander Pace focuses on investing in lower middle-market consumer products companies. The firm’s portfolio includes Kicking Horse Coffee, Kooba and Wholesome Pet Care Ltd.

Harris Williams & Co. served as financial adviser to Aden + Anais, while O’Melveny & Myers LLP provided legal counsel. Kirkland & Ellis LLP provided legal advice to Swander Pace on the deal.

Other recent consumer products deals include Crestview Partners and Maybrook Capital Partners’ acquisition of denim brand NYDJ Apparel LLCfrom Falconhead Capital LLC, and Bain Capital, which picked up a stake in outerwear company Canada Goose
