Hip-hop Web site Hookt.com Inc. is filing Chapter 11 and is already in touch with potential suitors, said its co-founder and ex-Wall Street banker Chas Walker. Hookt faces two lawsuits and potential liabilities of over $1 million, said Walker, though he would not elaborate on the nature of the lawsuits or the parties involved. Privately held Hookt describes itself as the “premier on-line destination” for music, news, fashion and shopping for hip-hop fans ages 15-34. Its strategic partners include rap artists Eminem and Puff Daddy.
