Stamps.com Inc. (Nasdaq: STMP) has paid $50 million for e-commerce technology company ShipStation.

ShipStation, headquartered in Austin, Texas, provides services to support automatic order importing from online shopping carts, including eBay Inc., Amazon.com, Shopify and others. The company also offers multi-carrier shipping options and automation features that customers can use to optimize shipping.

Stamps.com operates a website that allows users to print postage and shipping labels that are approved by the U.S. Postal Service.

Navidar Group, which has offices in Austin, Indianapolis and Minneapolis, acted as financial adviser to ShipStation on the deal.
