The Sherwin-Williams Co. has announced it will explore a sale for two non-core businesses, its cleaning solutions (CS) group and its internal label-making graphics arts business, the latter of which already has received some interest, said one source. Joseph Sroka, an analyst at Merrill Lynch, said a printing company has made an indication of interest for the in house label-making unit. After the unit is sold, Sherwin would probably remain a client to it, he said. He did not mention the name of the interested company.
