Roth Capital Partners recently tapped Tom Stringham as a VP to run the show in its newly opened Salt Lake City office. Prior to joining Roth earlier this month, Stringham worked at Merrill Lynch as a member of its private advisory group, working on hedging and diversifying equity holdings. He also worked as financial analyst in Merrill’s investment banking group in New York. Stringham reports to Roth Chief Executive Officer Byron Roth, and oversees two investment-banking professionals. Stringham said he hopes to increase that number to about five or six within a year.
