The Riverside Co. is adding to a streak of acquisitions with the purchase of DMA Corp.

DMA, headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, provides banks and credit unions with profitability analytics and other insights that aim to reduce income risk. Clients include financial institutions in the U.S. and Canada.

Riverside plans to make add-on acquisitions to DMA.

The Cleveland and New York-based private equity firm has been very active in 2014. Earlier in August, the firm picked up two e-learning businesses – Lexipol, a policy content training group, and Grace Hill Inc., which provides training to people in the apartment industry. In July, the firm invested in Censis Technologies Inc., a specialized software company for health care groups. 

Riverside's co-CEOs won Mergers & Acquisitions M&A Mid-Market Dealmakers of the Year award for 2013. 

Deerpath Capital Management provided financing for the deal. Jones Day, Deloitte and West Monroe Partners advised Riverside on the deal.
