Primco Management Inc. is buying 20 percent of The Basketball Channel for an undisclosed amount.

The Basketball Channel broadcasts basketball games, including live, archived, high school, college and other games, 24-hours per day.

Primco is a multi-media entertainment and real estate development company headquartered in Los Angeles. The company operates through its subsidiary, ESMG Inc., which operates a music and film production business. ESMG also operates EatSleepSport.tv, a sports website.

The company has obtained the option to increase its stake in The Basketball Channel to 51 percent once the company is listed on the Nasdaq, which it expects to occur before the end of 2014.

Primco and The Basketball channel plan to create a joint venture to market and distribute EatSleepSport.tv’s digital content, and The Basketball Channel’s original and archival footage.
