The junk bonds of U.S. retailers were damaged by the 10-day West Coast port lockout which ended last week, and with any further bad news in the struggling industry, expect to see more movement downward, said high yield and fixed income analysts. Still, analysts weren’t eager to attribute the softening of bond prices to the work stoppage, considering the other bad news coming out of the sector.
