Baker & Hostetler LLP — The New York law firm hired Eben Clark as a counsel in the hospitality industry and real estate teams. He will be based in Denver. Clark joins from Johnson & Repucci LLP, a Boulder, Colorado, law firm.
Kreller Group Inc. — Jeffrey Holbrook has been named global due diligence consultant for the Cincinnati, Ohio, firm. He will serve both domestic and international clients. Prior to his appointment at Kreller, Holbrook was vice president of sales at Odice LLC in Boulder, Colorado, where he oversaw development of new market segments and management of the U.S. subsidiary of the French manufacturer of passive fire protection products.
Manatt Phelps & Phillips —Lisl Dunlop has joined the Los Angeles law firm as a partner. Working out of Manatt's New York branch, Dunlop comes to Manatt from Shearman & Sterling LLP, where she was a member of the antitrust group and helped launch a U.K.-based competition law practice.
Porter Hedges LLP — The Houston law firm has expanded its energy practice with the opening of a new office in Oklahoma City. Partner C. Ray Lees, whose practice focuses on oil and gas transactions, will be in charge. He joins Porter Hedges from Commercial Law Group PC in Oklahoma City where he was managing partner.
PwC US — The London advisory firm made John Stadtler leader of its U.S. financial services industry practice. He succeeds James Flanagan, who was called up to be east region vice chairman. Stadtler joined PwC in 1988 and has been a partner since 1999. He has assisted clients with matters pertaining to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, controls reporting and operational effectiveness, as well as mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.
Sideman & Bancroft LLP— Former federal prosecutor James Lord has jumped over to the law firm as a partner from Jackson Lewis PC. In this position, Lord will work with the firm’s business crimes group, including corporate governance and compliance issues. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Lord worked as a federal prosecutor for more than 20 years, during which time he managed both national and international investigations relating to various types of fraud including accounting, securities and health care. Sideman is a San Francisco-based law firm. Lord will work out of the Denver branch.
Snell & Wilmer — Matthew Feeney, a partner in the law firm’s Phoenix office, will assume the role of chairman in March 2015. He replaces John Bouma, who is stepping down as chairman. Bouma will remain active at the firm as a Snell & Wilmer executive and compensation committee member.
Squire Patton Boggs LLP — The law firm has added partner Patrick Dugan to the financial services and health care practice groups. Dugan re-joins the firm after serving as chief legal officer and executive vice president at health insurance company Medical Mutual of Ohio.
