Circle Peak Capital and Golden Gate Capital have acquired Rocket Dog, a global designer, developer and distributor of footwear, from New York Transit, Inc., a privately held fashion footwear company. Founded in 1993 and based in Hayward, Calif., Rocket Dog’s product categories include active/casual/dress sandals, flats, and boots designed with a unique youthful style.
