The $1.3 billion Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System (OPPRS) is taking a close look at small market buyout investments and could potentially make an allocation to the asset class, according to Investment Management Weekly, a sister publication of Mergers & Acquisitions. At last week’s board meeting, Thompson Street Capital Partners made an educational presentation on the positives of small market buyout investments. The board and its consultant, Asset Consulting Group, were expected to discuss the possibility of making an allocation to the asset class and possibly vote to do so.
