Church & Dwight Co. Inc. is in deal talks with joint venture partner USA Detergents Inc. (USA), and anyone expecting a third party to step in for USA will only be disappointed. In a Feb. 20 13D, Church, which owns 15% of USA, said the companies were in talks regarding a possible merger, a change in management or the composition of USA’s board.
