When Omnicare Inc. issued a warning on its full-year earnings earlier and Chief Executive Officer Joel Gemunder vowed to forge ahead with the company’s hostile effort to take out NeighborCare Inc., the Street widened the spread on that situation to $4.14. And as one arb, who got out of numerous situations recently and before all the bad news, put it, “The arbs are getting killed.”
