With its sights set on participating in the residential services industry, Nextgen Communications Corp. wants to explore strategic alternatives for its communications towers business. The Houston-based microcap, which acquires towers and then leases the space to wireless carriers, wants to take part in the $10 billion-in-annual-revenue residential services business, according to an Oct. 3 press release. And Nextgen plans to focus on carpet cleaning, home restoration services, air-duct cleaning, heating and air conditioning. Prior to July 2001, Nextgen went by the name of U.S. Industrial Services Inc. and participated in the residential services industry.
