The $79.4 billion New Jersey Division of Investment (DOI) recently discussed several potential investments in private equity. At an April 19 meeting, the DOI discussed placing assets with private equity funds Thomas H. Lee Equity Partners V, Matlin Patterson, Avenue Special Situations and KPS III. The board also considered five new hedge fund investments and three potential real estate investments.
