Network Plus Corp., in hot water with its lenders, has hired UBS Warburg to help it look at restructuring and financing alternatives. And one analyst said the company’s telecommunications assets won’t be worth much in this market. Lawrence Petrone, an analyst with Fidelity Capital Markets, in a Jan. 3 report, moved the company from “strong buy” to “sell,” citing an “increased risk of liquidation.” He added that, given the current difficult environment for selling telecom busineses, the company’s assets would probably be worth between 10 and 20 cents on the dollar.
