Looking for some sort of lift, International Aircraft Investors (IAI) announced that it retained an investment bank to help it explore its strategic alternatives. IAI, based in Torrance, Calif., leases and sells used, single aisle aircraft to domestic and foreign airlines. As of the end of last year, IAI had 16 aircraft in its portfolio, 14 of which were leased to 13 airlines across the world.
