MCG Global, portfolio company Novations Group has acquired ProGroup, Inc., a Minneapolis-based provider of corporate diversity training. Founded in 1986 and staffed by more than two-dozen professionals, ProGroup offers employers a comprehensive range of diversity products and services. The firm will become a subsidiary of Boston-based Novations Group, Inc., a provider of consulting and training services to organizations on four continents that was acquired last summer by MCG Global, a Westport, Conn.-based middle-market private equity firm. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
