The $34 billion Maryland State Retirement and Pension System has launched a search for an investment consultant-a move which could potentially unseat the incumbent Ennis Knupp + Associates. Anne Budowski, a spokeswoman for the Baltimore plan said that Ennis Knupp is allowed to rebid for the account. Meanwhile, proposals for the account are due March 21. The fund is seeking a firm that can provide services such as asset allocation, investment policy and procedures, performance and structural analysis and manager oversight.
