Brennan will drive Adobe's strategic planning, m&a, and alliance efforts. AEG Partners - This advisory firm to distressed mid-market companies has named two new senior directors, in its Chicago office - Jon C. Otterberg, formerly a director at FTI Consulting, and Kevin Angeles, a member of AEG's financial advisory and corporate restructuring group since January 2003. Barclays Capital - Joining the firm's communications and entertainment investment banking group as a director is Jennifer Harris, the former executive director of Morgan Stanley's global capital markets group. Bentley Associates - Frederick J.C. Butler and Colin B. Lessard have joined this New York-based investment bank. Butler had been chairman and co-CEO of private investment bank Butler, Chapman & Co., which he co-founded. Lessard also joins Bentley from Butler, Chapman, where he worked on m&a and financing assignments. Conway, Del Genio, Gries & Co. - Mark Hopkins, a 20-year restructuring pro, has joined the firm's restructuring practice as a senior managing director. Previously, he was a managing director at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance. Conway, Del Genio is an m&a and restructuring advisory firm. Crescent Capital Investments - Joining the firm's private equity team is E. Stockton Croft, director with responsibility for seeking new acquisitions and supervising the firm's investment and due diligence process. He had been a managing director and partner at Argonne Capital Group. Daniels & Associates - Seth Wolkov has been promoted to VP. Prior to joining Daniels in 1999, he was an associate in the investment banking group at Robertson Stephens. Garnett & Helfrich Capital - Mike Guthrie has joined this venture buyout firm as a director. He had been a general partner at TPG Ventures, the venture capital arm of Texas Pacific Group. Greenhill & Co. - 37-year investment banking pro H.C. Bowen Smith has been named a senior advisor at the firm. Most recently he had been a senior adviser at UBS. His concentration is the forest products industry. Harris Nesbitt - Steven Steinberg has come aboard as a managing director in the firm's commercial and industrial products investment banking group. He formerly had been with Bear Stearns, where he was a managing director and founding member of the firm's industrial products group. Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin - Enhancing its Mid-Atlantic investment banking capabili ties, the firm has named Jim Campbell as a director and Dave Roberts as an SVP in its Washington, D.C., office. Campbell had been a partner in Ernst & Young's global transactions advisory services practice. Roberts had been a managing director of Hunter Group, a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm specializing in outsourced corporate development. Piper Jaffray & Co. - Roderick O'Neill has joined the firm as a managing director in its health care investment banking group, and focuses specifically on the health care services sector. He comes to Piper Jaffray from UBS, where he was an executive director. Samuel A. Ramirez & Co. - The investment bank has promoted Steven Willis to the position of managing director of investment banking in the U.S. and Latin America. He had been head of U.S. investment banking at the firm. Sandler O'Neill Partners - Two new members have been added to the firm's insurance investment banking group - Matthew Beizer, managing director, and John Hendrix, associate director. Beizer most recently co-founded IFS Capital Advisors. Hendrix joins the firm from Banc of America Securities, where he had been a principal in the investment banking division's financial institutions group. Stephens Inc. - Sarah E.L. Gill and Brian J. Urbanek were named VPs in the firm's investment banking transaction development group. Prior to joining Stephens, Gill was an assistant VP in the merchant banking group at GE Capital. Urbanek had been an investment banking VP at Bear, Stearns. UBS - Wallace C. Henderson has joined the firm's investment banking division as a managing director, and he heads the New York-based members of UBS's energy investment banking team.
